Far Cry 3 builds upon the open-world mechanics of its predecessor while heading back to the roots of its theme of blue beaches and lush jungles from the original Far Cry. Although Far Cry 3's open-world is somewhat smaller in comparison to other games in this list, it was still a very enjoyable element of gameplay.
